Bp fellowship: Deaf Spotlight is the fiscal agency for topher avila, a fellow who received a 3 year grant of 70k per year from borealis philanthropy. This was year 1 of 3.
Deaf Spotlight partners with diverse organizations in order to nurture more accessible and inclusive creativity for all. During march 2023, Deaf Spotlight hosted limitless expressions featuring asl cabaret performers, Deaf legends photography project, Deaf author readings, visual vernacular performances, dance performances and dance workshops.
Deaf spotlights presents - a theatrical program short play festival which we showcased 6 original short plays by Deaf playwrights and featured local and out of state talent at 12th ave arts studio theatre
