Monitoring programs - focusing on the needs of consumers receiving services funded through the Delaware County office of human services, the Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization gathers information regarding consumer's satisfaction with the support they receive and life outcomes, contributes to the identification of "best practices- and utilizes the data to continuously improve the quality of services and support provided to consumers with developmental disabilities and their families in Delaware County.
Social interaction - provide outings, dances and recreational activities for persons with developmental disabilities, as well as inclusion in community events and respite.
Advocacy and education programs - provide one-on-one Advocacy, referrals to community organizations, parent support groups, as well as collaboration with similar mission driven organizations. Systemic legislative Advocacy - work at all levels of government to influence public policy and awareness toward persons with disabilities.
Member services - Advocacy, and education, providing one-on- one Advocacy, referrals to community organizations, parent support groups and assistance in educational planning.
