Program areas at Delivering Good

Delivering Good's program of nationwide aid allows us to provide brand new clothing and other essentials to families and individuals in need in all 50 u.s. states. Working with a network of locally-led community partner nonprofits, we serve the children, families, and individuals suffering or at risk from a wide range of disadvantaged circumstances. Populations reached by our programs include foster children, children of incarcerated parents, the homeless, individuals below the poverty line, military families, severely ill children, victims affected by natural disasters, adults in need, and many more. New product donations include: clothing, shoes, books, educational materials, coats, uniforms, home goods, juvenile products, toys, furniture, and a variety of other necessary items that empower recipients to build stable and sustainable lives. In 2023, our network of donors provided over 10 million units of new product valued at more than $146,000,000, which we distributed to several hundred charity partners in our nationwide network. Monetary donations and other financial support help pay for programs, logistics, coordination and freight costs so that new products reach the people who need it most. Delivering Good has been widely recognized for its efficiency and its effective support of people in need.
Other programs - Delivering Good conducts a range of additional, innovative programs to provide useful, new products to people in need. These include:- retail programs - Delivering Good's retail program matches community partners with local stores of national chains to secure donations of necessary merchandise for children, adults and families in need. These programs provide an opportunity for companies to give back in a meaningful way, and present an efficient, uniform donation process across stores in local communities.in 2023, this included a partnership with jpma cares, the charitable arm of the juvenile products manufacturing association, proudly chose Delivering Good as their charity of choice. This collaboration will pave the way for an influx of much-needed donations, including children's clothing, strollers, car seats, and toys. Additionally, it will broaden awareness of our mission and the advantages that partnership with Delivering Good can bring.also in 2023, Delivering Good continued its long partnership with burlington for our annual coat event for people in need. More than 60,000 new coats were donated through a buy one, give one drive during which burlington donated a new coat for every coat purchased through their stores.- disaster relief - as part of our specialist efforts to assist communities affected by natural emergency, Delivering Good assisted residents of Mississippi struck by devastating tornadoes in april of 2023. Working with distribution partners at 4good community, and with in-kind product support from donors at hanesbrands, carters, and ralph lauren, we distributed brand-new clothing items that included underwear, t-shirts, sweats, socks, and children's attire. These items were essential building blocks to reconstructing happy and normal lives for those uprooted by disaster. Delivering Good also engages with west Virginia voad to supply them with clothing and supplies to be warehoused and rapidly distributed at times of distress and emergency in west Virginia throughout the year, a program that can be adopted in the future in other states.- purpose marketing and targeted aid - Delivering Good understands that businesses exist for more than simply profit: they also serve as sources of support and responsibility toward the communities that trust them. As corporate social responsibility becomes a major part of a growing number of businesses, Delivering Good has been establishing itself as a trusted partner in csr programs that make strategic, tangible differences in areas both local and national. For decades, one of Delivering Good's closest partners has been ralph lauren, a company who has donated millions of items of new clothing and provided leadership and volunteer resources for people in need. In 2023, they extended their support to include the engagement of their consumers by running a weekend long shopping event where 10% of the purchase price of any item from their stores benefitted Delivering Good during the promotion period helping to raise $25,000. The event helped promote awareness about Delivering Good and our work helping families and individuals. Also in 2023, ralph lauren generously donated to help our humanitarian efforts in ukraine with a donation of $150,000.
