Denver Asset Building Coalition offers free tax preparation, legal services, financial education and services to low-income and underserved individuals and families so that they can become economically stable and build a better future. In 2021, the DABC Volunteers filed over 2,500 Federal and State tax returns that helped clients receive refunds to return money back to the community.

DABC Volunteers filed over 3,300 Federal and State tax returns in 2023. DABC was able to help clients receive Federal and State refunds and return that money to the community. DABC worked 83 legal cases and provided over 150 consultations on tax-related/legal matters in 2023. As Certifying Acceptance Agents we also prepared 65 ITIN applications and certified their identification documents.
