Train & employ individuals for cdl certification for jobs as medical transportation. In 2022, we enrolled 288 cdl participants with 95% job placement rate and 93% completion rate. Increased participation for women in the trucking industry for the school of 35% participation by women. Started the nextgen trucking program targeting 18-20 year olds. Graduated 14 individuals from hinds county schools for job starting at 35,000 to 45,000. Expanding industry and Community partnerships by conducting 8 forums and/or webinar conversations on opportunities in trucking and pathways to higher paying jobs. Expanding grant opportunities with subgrant from mdhs. Continue to impact economic, Community and Workforce training Development through relationship building including the mec ascension to 55 to help increase inductry recognized certification across the state.
