Dcan produces educational materials and resources designed to inform stakeholders about the benefits of patient Access to appropriate dermatology healthcare to manage skin conditions. Dcan has produced or promoted white papers, infographics and other educational resources that serve to highlight Access issues and the consequences of barriers to Access to optimal skin health.
Dcan engages in advocacy initiatives in order to promote informed policymaking respecting Access to dermatology Care and skin health. These include making comment on proposed policies, legislation and regulations. Going forward, dcan intends to continue to identify opportunities to share stakeholder's perspectives with policymakers.
Dcan participates in various events including policy forums and medical society meetings that highlight issues impacting Access to dermatology Care and skin health. Going foward, dcan intends to sponsor policy forums and self management workshops.
