Program areas at Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus
Engaged 45 singers in rehearsals and other concert preparations. Performed a regular season of three concerts, over a total of five performances two December concerts celebrating the holiday season, a March 2018 performance of Tylers Suite, a tribute to Tyler Clementi, and two June concerts celebrating Gay Pride. These concerts reached a total audience of about 2,000 individuals. Also performed smaller concerts as invited for Pride rallies, schools, churches, memorial services, and other unrelated organizations, for a total of 14 such special performances.
Maintained membership in GALA, a national confederation of gay lesbian choruses.
