Deschutes Estuary Restoration Team advocates for the restoration of the Deschutes Estuary by supporting the removal of Olympia's 5th Avenue Dam. We actively educate our community about the benefits of estuary restoration, and advocate for funding. Our team has educated the public through 8 kayak patrols and 4 community forums with 56 volunteers providing over 550 hours of volunteer service. We also conduct microplastic analysis and offer a pollution hotline.
