Program areas at Design Connect Create
In 2022, the Organization offered 17 sessions and served 240 young women using a hybrid model offering both in-person and virtual camps to allow for a safe experience for the participants. The Organization also distributed kits to facilitate the hands-on learning of the prior camps. Through continued partnerships with Austin ISD, Crandall ISD, Dallas ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Garland ISD, Houston ISD partnerships with Rice University, Mesquite ISD, Richardson ISD, the Organization offered 11 physics/engineering camps, 6 coding camps. The STEM camps consisted of 16 in-person camps, with only one that was virtual.
