Program areas at Design Museum Foundation
Design Museum's free, public exhibitions feature topics within our impact areas from sustainability and healthcare Design to the Design of play. These are immersive Museum experiences in public spaces and at host venues, including large-scale graphics, visual story-telling, case studies, artist and designer profiles, Design artifacts and examples, video, and data visualizations. Each exhibition is developed collaboratively with a volunteer content advisory committee, a group of Design experts, and leaders in the content area of each exhibition. Our exhibitions are also available online to be accessible to all. In 2023, these exhibitions were attended by 15,316 people in person and 87,838 online.

In conjunction with our exhibitions and events, Design Museum everywhere develops publications out of our publishing arm, Design Museum press. Design Museum produces and publishes accessible Design thought leadership content through various channels, with content sourced and developed through a volunteer network of think tank members and participating thought leaders in the form of magazines, books, articles, interviews, and videos. Design Museum also publishes content on our website, so the information is free and available to the public. Published content includes Design Museum magazine, a quarterly focused on one impact area per issue. Magazine readership is about 1,450 members.
