The organization promotes and programs indian creek plaza in downtown Caldwell through a management agreement with the city. During 2022, the plaza held 280 events and activities, and 62,000 skating patrons. Indian creek plaza provides business access, public seating, and hosts events such as concert series, farmer's market, fitness activities, educational outreach, splash pads, family entertainment, winter wonderland, indian creek festival, and other cultural events throughout the year and a public ice skating rink during the winter months; estimated attendance at plaza events and programming during 2022 of 275,000. A welcome center and staff provide information to tourists and residents of community offerings.
The organization administers the downtown Caldwell business improvement district with such support including the operations, promotions and programming for indian creek plaza, special projects, beautification/increased cleanliness efforts, and marketing/promotion for the overall district. Many of the festivals and events based on the plaza extend throughout the district to promote economic development. Recruited new businesses to the district, provided businesses with promotional resources, and promoted retail trade, restaurants and professional activities in the district and surrounding community. In partnership with the city of Caldwell, the organization implemented a plan to develop a public "wayfinding" business directory and district map to further enhance accessibility and promote economic development within the district.
The organization designed and implemented advertising and promotional activities to stimulate agritourism specifically through their program called "agventure trail" where visitors tour local farms and ranches to experience a hands on approach to learning about the agricultural industry. In addition, through a partnership with the Idaho farmer's market and local producers, the organization expanded the availability of fresh, local food to low-income families and the elderly through their farm to fork farmer's market. Organization promotes farm to fork, and farm to cork and connecting local farmers directly with consumers and downtown businesses. Provided aligned, branding marketing and administrative support to the sunnyslope wine trail.
