Description
Development in Gardening is improving the nutrition and livelihoods of the world's most vulnerable by teaching them to plant restorative gardens that grow health. Its mission is to improve the nutrition and health of HIV affected and at-risk populations through sustainable gardening. The organization has trained 1362 beneficiaries in DIG's seed to plant farmer field school across three countries - Kenya, Senegal, and Uganda, benefitting over 6810 people with increased access to food nutrition and income. The organization has directly trained an additional 2509 people in Kenya.
