DFRC enriches the lives of Delawareans with intellectual disabilities through quality events and programs. DFRC raises funds and consciousness to support enrichment programs for all Delawareans. One notable program is the DFRC blue-gold all star football game which promotes awareness and understanding among high school students and children with developmental disabilities. In addition, DFRC conducts two regional golf outings and various other events to increase public awareness of developmental disabilities in Delaware.

Grants to Delaware nonprofit agencies who provide enrichment programs that allow people with intellectual disabilities to maximize their potential, independence, and enjoyment of life.
DFRC conducts two regional golf outings and numerous other events to increase the general public's awareness of the issues and challenges faced by children with intellectual disabilities within the state of Delaware.
The DFRC blue-gold all star football game is a six month program matching Delaware high school students, all volunteers, with children with intellectual disabilities to promote awareness and understanding with their peer groups and fellow students in their schools.
