Program areas at Diablo Valley Baseball Club
It is the mission, duty and purpose of the Diablo Valley Baseball Club to prepare young men for high school baseball while providing these players and their families an enjoyable and memorable athletic experience. We use the game of baseball to build character, teach leadership skills, emphasize the importance of education, and inspire a commitment to our community. During the course of a season, which typically runs from January through July our athletes will be provided on field baseball instruction twice a week with competitive games played on average every other weekend. Players are provided uniforms and practice apparel as part of monthly fees collected by the club. These fees also cover field rentals, team insurance and tournament entry costs. Once or twice per season the club will perform fundraising activities in order to offset the costs of extended, out-of-town travel for tournament play. The funds received through these activities as well as monthly club fees will be used exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and will not be used for personal gains of any sort.We would hope that the supplied documents will allow the Diablo Valley Baseball Club, Inc. to be reinstated as a California approved non-profit.Should any additional information or documentation be required, please contact us at your first opportunity.
