Program areas at Digital NEST

Digital NEST programs teach important 21st Century workplace skills. Since 2014, we have served more than 3,772 members and alumni who are now a part of a thriving community of creative teachers, professionals, peers, and mentors. They build technical skills, soft skills, gain hands-on experience, learn to navigate the world of work and make connections that help them out-compete other job seekers. Members not only acquire the skills to prepare them for the digital workforce, but they also develop the power to transform the quality of their own lives. They become architects of their own future and contributing members of stronger communities. In the past year, more than 731 students attended our career training workshops and our youth-led digital media production agency, bizzNEST, generated more than $68,500 in revenue from projects for local clients and created 19 jobs. Furthermore, we have launched programming in Gilroy, CA, and have secured a location and hired a Center Director for our next Center in Modesto, CA and plan to open both Modesto and Stockton in 2023-2024 bringing our total to 5 Centers throughout Central California.
