Program areas at Dirshu International
A major event that brings together a large number of the participants of our programs. These students study the talmud & jewish law all year & take intensive exams on the material studied. The purpose of the event is to provide them the inspiration they need to continue these studies & exams by meeting fellow students & hearing lectures from world renowned speakers. It also encourages new participants to join our program.
Money & other incentives are awarded to many individuals (this year the number was around 775)based on participation & exam scores. The programs & tests are administered around the tri-state area.
Lectures, primarily in the area of the code of jewish law, are given on a daily basis by prominent & well known rabbis to groups of rabbinical students & laymen in the jewish community. These lectures take place all over the united states.
The main purpose of this foundation is to promote education of the
Bible, talmud, code of law and various other religious works.
The above income was from the sale of tickets & for charges for accomodations
For 2 events that help celebrate the accomplishment of those goals.
