The absenceexemplar (tm) dashboard significantly advanced employee benefit plan benchmarking. Available to dmec survey participants, it provides dynamic benchmarking, allowing organizations to align benefit portfolios with industry standards. This tool enhances competitiveness, talent attraction, and operational efficiency, optimizing benefit plan design based on real-time industry data.
Dmec released three new resources for members including finding your trade-off: a guide to workforce flexibility, a flexible approach to ada medical documentation, and starting conversations about presenteeism. These new resources were added to an exisitng library of 60+ sample forms and templates available to dmec members.
Dmec conferences provide significant value through in-person and virtual events. The 2023 Employer compliance conference in orlando (march 27-30) featured 28 sessions, attracting 660 attendees. A follow-up virtual event on may 3 extended access with four top sessions. The 2023 annual conference in san diego (aug. 14-17) offered 43 sessions, addressing critical topics such as long covid and fmla/ada challenges, with a combined in-person and virtual attendance of 894. These events facilitate engagement, networking, and education, enhancing dmec membership value.
In 2023, dmec released three new micro-credential courses short, interactive online trainings that offer a digital badge and certificate upon completion including new hamshire state leave laws, rhode island state leave laws, and Oregon state leave laws.
