Other program services advancing the legal and human Rights of individuals with disabilities through quality legal, individual and system advocacy.dri accepted 887 requests for services from people with disabilities, including 11 investigations of abuse or neglect, 0 litigation, represented 16 clients at hearing, 61 technical assistance, 351 short term technical assistance, and 506 information and referrals. Dri conducted 26 training courses for people with disabilities, their families and care providers, and conducted public policy analysis and education on public policy issues.
Developmental disabilities assistance.dri accepted 153 requests for service from people with developmental disabilities, including 6 investigations of abuse and neglect, represented 9 clients at hearing, 83 short term technical assistance cases and 74 information and referrals. Dri conducted 26 training sessions for people with dd and their families and care provider. Dri also provided analysis and education on the impact of public policy issues on people with developmental disabilities.
Protection and advocacy for individuals with mental illness.dri accepted 290 requests for services from people with mental illness, including 5 investigations of abuse or neglect, 0 litigation, represented 3 clients at hearing, 3 technical assistance, 237 short term technical assistance cases, and 164 information and referrals. Dri conducted 26 trainings for people with mental illness, their families and care providers. Dri also provided analysis and education on the impact of public policy issues on people with mental illness.
