Disabled Resources Center, Inc. ("the Center") is a nonprofit corporation. The Center empowers people with disabilities to live independently in the community, to make their own decisions about their lives, and to advocate on their own behalf. The Center provides services for people with disabilities in the City of Long Beach, as well as throughout Los Angeles County and parts of Orange County. Core independent living services offered include: independent living skills training, information and referrals, advocacy, peer counseling, transition to independent community living for both youth and seniors, personal assistance services, housing information and referrals, and assistive technology.
