Disrupting Traffick aims to disrupt the comm sex industry. The organization reached out to nearly 500 trafficked individuals in the commercial sex industry and distributed 1,000 cookies during their outreach. Program areas at Disrupting Traffick

The organization hosted its first awareness walk. There were 75 registered participants and 40 businesses involved. The purpose of the awareness walk was to raise awareness for sexual assault in our community.
Our major achievement of 2021 was securing a residential home to be used as the first safe house for trafficked individuals in our community and creating a program to be able to house those individuals.
Performed outreach to almost 500 trafficked individuals working in the commercial sex industry and provided 1,000 cookies during our outreach. Additionally, the organization conducted research into the best programs to open its own resource center. The organization plans to open its own resource center in september 2022.
