D4 assisted several community groups advocate for community benefits related to large scale developments,and conducted research about how to incorporate more affordable housing and equity into municipal zoning codes. D4 also continued to host its labor + community partnership and led research into how to improve Detroit's home repair ecosystem. D4 hosted trainings for residents around the Detroit community benefits ordinance and created an educational manual for residents about the ordiance. Lastly, d4 researched best practices around community investment trusts and how to incorporate the models into Detroit Development.
