Dawn's confidential Domestic violence emergency shelter provided 6,660 bednights to 136 clients.
Dawn's community advocacy program includes individual case management, legal advocacy, mobile advocacy, education and outreach, and 24 hour crisis line. We provided 9,548 case management services, served 2,131 clients in the community advocacy program, provided 953 hours with legal advocacy, held 6 support groups, answered 4,731 crisis calls. Additionally, dawn conducted 18 24-hour Domestic violence advocacy trainings. Dawn offers short-term, one-on-one mental health support for survivors of Domestic violence. Our on-site therapist understands the dynamics of Abuse and the impacts on survivors, and partners with advocates to get clients the support services they need.
Dawn's prevention advocate program is designed to prevent intimate partner violence in the community. Prevention advocate works with groups like schools, faith institutions, sports teams, and other organizations to create and implement material related to helping youth develop healthy relationships. Dawn provided 481 hours to 60 clients.
