Don Mills Achievement Center

Don Mills Achievement Center, formerly crippled children committee of warren, co., inc. has been in operation since 1925 providing comprehensive support and services to children and adults with disabilities. Our mission and philosophy is to develop and provide programs and services which offer assistance in meeting the special needs and challenges of all residents of warren county and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves in recognizing the variations among peoples disabilities as being the first step in designing our services to be suitable to everyone. The agency provides to the community as a whole an integrated, licensed preschool program, speech and language therapy services, camp talk-a-lot, rainbow swim program, operation take me home, wheelchair provisions at the local mall and library, hospital, orthopedic and other equipment for loan, a quarterly orthopedic pediatric outreach clinic, financial assistance as well as advocacy and referral. Through our programs and services we are hoping to improve the everyday lives of our clients with education and prevention. We also offer volunteer opportunities to the community. This past year we provided services to over 1,500 individuals and families.
