General studies - from elementary school through high school, academic disciplines are woven together at dkja to provide a comprehensive education encompassing liberal arts and fine arts, world cultures, current affairs, literature, and judaic studies.this approach provides context, relevance, and an understanding of the complex relationships between the diverse array of knowledge and the many different people of the world. Our curriculum is integrated through hands-on interaction that encourages participation in group projects, as well as independent thinking and creativity.
Technology - at dkja you'll find technology integrated into every aspect of the educational process, making learning more effective while teaching students the skills they'll need for success in today's world.the claire and emanuel g rosenblatt technology program k-12, which includes smart board interactive whiteboards in every classroom, as well as an integrated school-wide computer network, builds students' skills and facilitates collaboration. True integration of technology in every classroom enables students and teachers to share ideas and resources in a digital environment while keeping abreast of and implementing cutting-edge developments.
Judaic studies - our Jewish values and philosophy of living lay the foundation for a unique understanding that brings richness, continuity, and beauty to every aspect of life.at Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Jewish living, learning and academic achievement permeate the entire educational experience. Connecting to israel is an invaluable component of the dkja curriculum. Students in upper grade levels have the opportunity to visit and study in our homeland, israel.from the most ancient traditions and the wisdom of the torah, to learning of modern hebrew as it is spoken in present-day israel.
