Program areas at Dress for Success Triangle NC
Career and image coaching:our career coaches address and eliminate the frustrating obstacles that may arise during a search for employment. Women meet one-on-one with trained career coaches to assess how their skills and experience match job requirements, how to communicate transferable skills, update resumes and cover letter writing and revisions. Coaches also help women navigate social media to optimize their job search process. Image coaches then work with women to suit them for upcoming interviews and employment.
Wednesday webinars:webinars are offered on a weekly basis to women looking to build their knowledge base. Webinars are hosted by local business professionals on a variety of topics including navigating career changes, preparing for online video interviews, code-switching, and more.
Job acquisition:the going places network is our weekly job acquisition class that supports women as they address obstacles to securing employment. Participants receive tools and resources to become empowered and succeed in their job searches. Going places net offers skills assessment, mock interview practice and networking opportunities.
Transitioning industries:career pathways to confidence provides an introduction to a variety of career sectors and paths. Women identify where their skills align with various career options and connect with industry leaders to strengthen their professional outcomes.
