Program areas at Driven Foundation
Driven youth mentorship programs (grade 5-8) build character by instilling values of honesty, integrity, personal responsibility, and perseverance. Through reading sessions and small group discussions, young people learn to apply these fundamentals through dialogue with their fellow students and Driven staff. Future leaders career tour is a 5-day tailor-made experience for young men entering grades 6-8 focusing on building character and developing leaders. Campers will visit six local businesses and experience the atmosphere, attitude, and attention to detail that it takes to be succesful. Other topics: academic success, friends & relationships, handling adversity, hard work & effort, hygiene & image, integrity & sacrifice, music & lyrical content, and social media.
Driven food program: specific food give away during the holiday season.
Outreach: provides school supplies to students. Other outreach programming includes providing food to families and promoting and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Driven Foundation wellness giveaway: distributes over 20,000 wellness/hygiene items to central Ohio families, including deodorant, body wash, bar soap, hand soap, hand sanitizer, tissue, towels, portable fans, cleaning products, bottled water, and more. Additionally, "adjustments" will be given by revive chiropractic. Over 250 families are served annually.
Driven charity basketball games: serves as a resource to local communities to provide access to former Ohio state athletes to play in basketball games that are fundraisers for the local community.
