Program areas at Drop-In Center for the Homeles

We served a total of 6,800 meals and also provided 225 grocery bags to families in 2023.UCOs housing specialist provided guidance and referrals to many clients and she gave direct rental support to eight families. UCO also continues to provide medical care to our unhoused clients twice per month thanks to our dedicated volunteer doctor and nurse.UCOs collaborative spirit shone through the generosity of our community. Individual donations of food, hygiene kits, and clothing, coupled with support from partner organizations reinforced our mission. Uplift Charitys annual visit contributed 175 hygiene kits, blankets, and snack bags, while ICNA visited twice, delivering warm jackets, blankets, and additional hygiene kits. These partnerships underline our shared dedication to creating a welcoming environment that provides respite, nutrition, opportunity, and hope to the homeless in our community.
