The Dunedin Youth Sailing Association aims to offer youth from all economic backgrounds the chance to actively engage in sailing/racing, fostering lifelong values such as responsibility, self-discipline, fairness, teamwork and sportsmanship. High schoolers practice twice a week throughout the academic year, with spring and fall sailing/racing instruction consisting of 10 classes each during sessions 22 and 23 respectively. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, regatta participation was halted.
