Here, over 75 volunteer medical providers, Health care professionals and support volunteers provide medical care to underserved, working poor, adult men and women who are uninsured, underinsured, or who are unable to find a healthcare provider.dvhwc offers the following services to its patients:twice-weekly basic urgent care clinicsfour-five monthly chronic healthcare clinicsemergency dental treatment (medication for pain and infection)vouchers and referrals to local dental providers for emergency carehealth education classes for prevention and for self-management of chronic diseasea prescription assistance programno cost lab and x-ray servicesreferrals to specialty care partners according to client needsworking on Wellness (wow!) Free monthly forums on a variety of topics
Wellness program:the Clinic manages a Wellness education program called working on Wellness, and provides free monthly (wow) forums on a variety of Health and Wellness topics. In 2021, due to the pandemic, the wow! Forums were immediately transitioned from in person meeting to being broadcast on ksqm, the local non-profit radio station. Those broadcasts continued in 2022.
