Program areas at Durks Neighborhood Heroes
College and career readiness cohort - the program provided high school students in the chicagoland area the opportunity to visit colleges, network, shadow a variety of jobs, and provide them with skills and resources to navigate the transition from high school to college.
Back to school fair - Neighborhood Heroes foundation collaborated with local non-profits to provide school supplies, electronics, personal hygiene products, clothing, food, and accessories for over 8,000 households on chicago's south side.
Thanksgiving initiative - partnering with boston market, Neighborhood Heroes foundation delivered 5,000 meals to families in the chicagoland area during thanksgiving.
