Program areas at LiveLung
Livelung educational patient programs include educational and empowering monthly in-person and virtual lung cancer patient and care partner meetings in various geographical areas. In-person and virtual Livelung meetings feature expert speakers and support. In addition to the meetings, Livelung hosts educational events, training programs and summits throughout the year for lung cancer patients and their care partners. Livelung also provides educational resource bags, hope totes, to cancer centers throughout the u.s. for newly diagnosed lung cancer patients.
The lung cancer action network lungcan is a collaborative association on leading lung cancer advocacy organizations whose mission is to unite and amplify the voices of the lung cancer community. Lungcan member organizations meet virtually monthly and during annual in-person conferences, and collaborates on a wide variety of advocacy initiatives throughout the year. Note lungcan became an independent 501c3 and as of december 31, 2023 is no longer associated with the Dusty Joy Foundation.
Founded by patients for patients and those who care, kras kickers serves the kras oncogene patient community with a focus on connecting people to current research, resources community. Kras kickers promotes knowledge, research, advocacy and survivorship. Note kras kickers became an independent 501c3 and as of december 31, 2023 is no longer associated with the Dusty Joy Foundation.
