Program areas at E4 Project
Nebobongo surgical staff "jc support" - dr congo nebobongo hospital is a christian-run hospital under the authority of the regional church, cecca-16, in the northeast corner of the democratic republic of congo (drc). The nebobongo evangelical hospital, for all of its resource challenges, remains the best-equipped and staffed hospital in an area serving over 260,000 people in one of the poorest regions of one of the poorest countries on earth. The medical debt forgiveness program allows nebobongo hospital to treat all patients, regardless of whether or not they can afford to pay for their care. Many hospitals in dr congo have prisons where they will keep patients after discharge until their family can pay their bills to release them. Our partner program allows people to receive care at a hospital that shares the love of jesus, grace, and forgiveness through debt relief.
Mine family stabilization program, gabon mine stands for ministere de l'evangelisation et de l'enseignement des enfants (ministry of evangelism and children's education). This program focuses on an area outside of the capital city of libreville with a large concentration of unstable families with or at risk of child maltreatment and a high percentage of young single mothers with many children or children living with relatives. Many children in the programs admit to physical, sexual, and verbal abuse from family members. Stabilizing families is critical because these interventions prevent more children from becoming orphans and improve their family relations and living conditions. Our partners are passionate about protecting children and sharing the gospel at each event. They have a team of volunteers, including psychologists, social workers, medical professionals, and general volunteers, to achieve success through their programs. As they conduct each event/program, the team provides holistic care to the needs of each person so that real, lasting change can occur.
Hands of grace - our partner ministry to widows and needy women of gabon. The hands of grace center is a place where women can come to receive sewing training, earn income, and find community with other women. The center allows women access to sewing and finishing machines, materials, and everything they need to learn a new skill that can provide income for the women and their children. The women work on individual projects that they sell at markets and expositions, as well as larger-scale projects such as school uniforms. The ministry started out specifically for widows but includes all needy women who are left out of their society and unable to find employment. The center provides them with one healthy meal per day. The E4 teams provide all levels of training and continue to teach the women there to teach others. The center has a board of directors and a paid manager who runs operations for the center.
