Early Learning Coalition of Miami Dade Monroe (ELCMDM)

Provision of subsidized child care services to promote school readiness and prekindergarten programs, thus increasing all children's chances of achieving future educational success and becoming productive members of society inclusive of subsidized child care services to at-risk children and children of needy families. Services provided to approximately 22,000 children for school readiness grant and approximately 21,000 children for the vpk program.

Quality enchancement projects to child care providers and teachers of children mentioned in (a) and (b) above in order to raise quality standards and enchance the Learning environment for low income and at-risk children.

To promote economic self sufficiency of refugee/entrant families byproviding quality and affordable child care servcies for their children while parents participate in adult/vocational education programs and employment services. Services provided to an average of 280 children.
