Program areas at ELV
For 2023, the organization supported 900 Early child care programs; served 83,849 children. The member retention is 83%, and ehs services is 100% enrolled, with 80 ehs teacher qualifications and 75% ehs teacher retention.
Early head start: elv supports and enhances Early Learning programs to provide comprehensive and continuous services. Elv aims to increase access to high-quality, full-day, full year child care for low income working families.
Early Learning venture fund: this is a shared services infrastructure for the Early childhood education sector to promote effective governance, high standards of program quality, professional competence, operational efficiency, as well as financial sustainability. The objective is to strengthen overall business operations, and allow the child care providers support and oversight to its partners while continuing to research and develop the model and policies. This effort involves elv staff providing technical assistance, business planning, and resource development. Elv serves licensed childcare programs across the state of Colorado.
Elv created a customized web-based information managment system for the Early Learning Ventures alliance model. The child management system includes educational performance and development supports, and financial management functionality.
