Gardening activities including support of a major public garden facility in the area.
Hosting the Southern Region Master Gardener Conference for gardeners from Texas and Louisiana and from states along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts to Virginia.
Presentations and plant clinics are held to promote gardening and horticultural activities and assist the public in their gardening efforts.
Gardening guides and newsletters are published to promote gardening activities and educate the public on horticultural methods. Training classes and seminars in home horticulture for members in order that they can in turn educate the public in horticulture methods.
