Program areas at East Bay Consortium of Educ Institutions

An academic year program in which students participate in activities that supplement our summer program, as well as engage in other events that prepare them for the college entrance process, including on-site after school tutoring, mentoring activities, field trips, Saturday Programs for students and families, academic advisement, and workshops and seminars for families. Served 4,500 studentsEast Bay Consortium received donations of staff services, facilities and supplies related to this program.
A series of public service announcements on local media publicizing the availability of "Cash For College" workshops. The workshops are described below:"Cash for College" Financial Aid workshops provided free, professional assistance to students and families completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form, the California Dream Act Application and other forms required for financial aid for college.Served over 2,000 students and parents.
Summer Pre Collegiate Academy:Intensive summer academic program for high school students with year round support activities such as filed trips, access to computers and parent/student activities. Concurrent with the above, a teacher institute is in place to provide academic and professional training for prospective teachers. Served 111 students.East Bay Consortium received donations of staff services, facilities and supplies related to this program.
