East Harlem Multi Service Center

Ehmsc was founded with the purpose of operating and maintaining a facility in East Harlem known as the Multi Service Center ("msc") which is owned by the new york city human resources administration("hra"). Effective september 2, 1998, ehmsc entered into an agreement with hra whereby hra designated ehmsc as the sole operator of the facility. Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, ehmsc oversees all administrative functions as well as provides plant management of the msc by leasing space to tenants who provide direct Service programs to the community including health, recreational, rehabilitative, social and other services to meet the needs of the community.
