Epacando's entire program is focused on creating or sustaining housing and housing affordability in one form or another in East Palo Alto, California. We develop and/or manage affordable rental housing, administer the city's affordable home ownership program, and provide counseling, technical assistance and access to financing to low-income homeowners who develop accessory dwelling units on their properties, which in turn provides housing that is affordable to their families or tenants. We provide direct services to, or sustain beneficial opprotunities (such as affordable housing) for over 1,000 local households.
