Program areas at EHOS
Environmental education - located on the eastern shore of the chesapeake bay in kent county, Maryland, the Outdoor School offers immersive environmental education programs for students and adults, year-round. The Outdoor School offers both single day programs and multi-day residential experiences. During 2023, the Outdoor School provided Outdoor education programs for approximately 6,000 participants from public, private, homeschool and adult groups in the mid-atlantic region. The Outdoor School encourages students of all ages to explore and examine the natural world around them, guiding them to an understanding of their role as current and future stewards of the chesapeake bay region.
