Program areas at Eckerd College

Instruction and scholarships to/for students - students come from 53 states and territories and 39 countries. Students can choose from 42 majors in the residential program or design their own interdisciplinary concentrations. All programs lead to a bachelor of arts, bachelor of fine arts or bachelor of science degree. Attending Eckerd College during the 2022-23 academic year were 1,950 full-time and part-time degree-seeking students. Student services - provide services to students apart from instruction such as admissions, financial aid, student activities, athletics and more. Approximately 96% of Eckerd College beginning undergraduate students receive financial assistance as a result of the efforts of the financial aid office. The College's students have access to many services including the fitness center, the outdoor pool, men's and women's sports, student government, student media (radio, tv and newspaper) and registered student clubs and organizations. Auxiliary services - housing, food service and others. With 74 percent of students living in the residence halls, Eckerd College offers residence halls that range from traditional rooms with a shared common area to apartment style suites. Food services are provided by a third party management company that operates several locations across Eckerd's main campus. More information is available at www.eckerd.edu/.
