Edmond Historical Society

The purpose of the Edmond Historical Society and museum is to house a museum in order to preserve the history of Edmond and provide programs for children and adults for educational purposes. The Edmond Historical Society was formed with a mission to establish a museum as a means to preserve the history of Edmond by collecting artifacts, photographs and documents; to make the collection available to the public through exhibition, publication, and other programming; to encourage an awareness of Edmond's heritage through educational programs and recognition of outstanding contributions to the community; and to own real and personal property.
