Program areas at Edmonds Food Bank
At Edmonds Food Bank, the volunteers and staff continued to engage with our customers as we provided Food, household supplies, personal products, and referrals to partner organizations for additional support. Even as the pandemic status is dropped, serving our customers in a safe environment has been paramount throughout the continuing economic challenges. We are offering in-person shopping for those who have special dietary needs. We have seen a steady increase in customers with our weekly average moving above 725 households.we continue our delivery services to support over 150 households of seniors, or persons with disabilities households each week. Our online ordering system gives customers the right to choose the foods they need and want each week and many of our customers appreciate the service as it enables them to receive their Food in an efficient and friendly way thus freeing up time for other activities. We have continued our pop-up pantries throughout the community including partnerships with latino education and training institute (leti), st. albans church, college place schools, and the korean community services center providing support to increasing numbers of customers who cannot access the Food Bank due the restricted hours allowed at our current location. 350 volunteers' commitment to our purpose across our distributions to provide 18,600 households (64,874 individuals) with a week's grocery support.
