Product development & dissemination - etr is the nation's largest non-profit health Education publisher of highly respected health and Education resources. We develop and disseminate a substantial portfolio of science-based programs and materials that empower health and Education professionals to improve outcomes in youth, families, and communities. Our products are distributed and developed in formats that meet the varied needs of our partners in multi-media formats, including curricula, pamphlets, pocket guides, e-books, and Training materials that have won national health information, web health, and health literacy awards and have been recognized by the cdc, samhsa, and the u.s. department of Education. California department of health - California department of public health funds four projects at etr related to reducing and eliminating tobacco use and its effects. This includes educational materials and Training for health departments, community-based organizations that can be customized to our partner's needs. We have distributed over one million pieces of information and held several hundred trainings or technical assistance sessions. We work in tribal communities and rural communities and with communities where second-hand smoke exposure has particular risk for children and youth. Administration for children and families etr engages youth at risk for poor health outcomes in program design, evaluation, and strategies to promote optimal health, including preventing teen pregnancy, reducing sexually transmitted infections, promoting healthy relationships, and building communication and life skills.
