Program areas at Education with Purpose Foundation for Pacific Islanders
Our virtual after school program, entitled "Scholars with Purpose" enabled us to provide direct services to 9th -12th grade students. We provided academic , social and emotional support through our after school curriculum.
We hosted a back-to-school support program to help families prepare their children to re-enter the school systems after summer break. Through our program, we were able to assist families with stipends and resources that enabled them to successfully enroll their students and purchase necessities. These type of support give our youth much more confidence as they enter a new grade.
We hosted a program to support families who have worked diligently to guide their senior high schoolers towards earning their high school diploma. With so many problems that the world faced by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, many families struggled with even the basic essentials of life, including a quality education for their children. We were successful in helping families through the process of high school graduation and beyond.
All of our programs required staffing support, administrative assistance, equipment, travel expenses, insurance and other program expenses to be covered. We utilized are grant funds to ensure all of our programs operated successfully.
