Communities and research: provides research and analysis about information technology in higher education to information technology professionals and higher education leaders. Provides structures through which members can network and collaborate with colleagues who are tackling technological progress in core technologies. Promotes the adoption of analytics-based systems among institutions of higher education. Conducts enterprise and administrative pursuits concerning the use of information technology in higher education institutions.
President's office: develops alliances and networks with related peers, organizations, and members who further educational support for information resources professionals in such areas as technology planning and leadership.
Conferences and events: supports all conferences and events held by the organization including the annual conference, the organization's premier professional development initiative which provides learning and networking opportunities to all levels of information technology professionals.
Professional learning: provides a variety of special-topic, regional conferences, resources, tools, and other member-driven professional development activities to advance learning through the innovative application of technology.
Publishing and content: includes the organization's open-access digital and print flagship publications, which address current developments and trends in it, how they may affect members, and what these trends mean for higher education and society.
Membership: processes membership renewals, enrolls new members, and tracks member retention.
