Worked throughout the region to build research alliances with school districts, state school systems and regional education agencies. Coordinated, designed, attended and presented reports at workshops, events and other meetings to provide education research practitioners information. Research efforts to support educational work in the region and enhanced school programs
Designed and delivered curriculum and training for k12 students through aftershool programs and in school workshops focused on math, science, reading and leadership. Helped after school teachers implement programs focused on innovative teaching strategies. Provided k12 students with workshops and direct instruction in leadership and promoting continuing education.
Created educational resources for K12 teachers, students and community members to increase knowledge in areas of technology and entrepreneurship. Trained teachers on the use of technology resources that provide them with the skills to help students excel in homework, resume writing and entrepreneurship and finding college resources. Worked to engage families in the education process.
