Biennial bioactive lipids conference: the organization held an informative and successful conference in the fall of 2022 relating to the dissemination of the latest scientific and medical information on bio-active lipids in health and disease, including cancer. This was the 17th international conference scheduled in new orleans, Louisiana, usa from october 30 - november 2, 2022. The conference successfully promoted the exchange of ideas and theories in this area among scientists and medical professionals around the world, in an effort to find a cure for diease and the resolutin of imflammatory diseases.

Annual wayne state university lipids symposium: the wayne state university lipids symposium addresses the vital roles of lipids in cellular processes required for normal physiological function. The 7th wsu lipids symposium was scheduled for may 13, 2020 in the student ballroom on the main campus of wayne state university. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the event was canceled. The symposium has been suspended since that point, but is currently expected to resume in either 2023 or 2024. Previously, the (6th) wsu lipids symposium was held in the student center ballroom on the main campus of wayne state university on may 7, 2019 and was well attended.
