Farm operations on .50 acres of a 2 acre farm producing approximately 25,000 pounds of produce, which was donated to jfs, kavod senior life and samecafe, spirit of the sun, metro caring, vivent health and various food pantries. Approximately 9,964 volunteers participated in farming activities.
Youth and family food systems. Food cultivation and preparation, and food systems and environmental sustainably experimential education programs for children, families and adults, including programming with schools. Approximately 154 classes and 12 events with over 5,000 participants. Ekar distributed 15,000 seed packets to 65 organizations throughout Colorado and distributed 480 meal kits to low income community members
