Program areas at El Dorado Foundation

Support to foundacion teleton mexico ac which provides world class physical rehabilitation to children while supporting the entire family through the process. This grant directly supported the teleton bus which gives 'transportation with dignity' to children and their families to la paz from los cabos. This specialty equipped bus has helped over 350 children and their families get to the treatments they need.
In 2023, the El Dorado Foundation supported the El Dorado Foundation ac which helps people with physical disabilities and their families. This includes physical rehabilitation, medical expense assistance, and transportation assistance to treatments, logistical support and connections with other foundations. Estimated 5 people received physical rehabilitation support, estimated 10 people received medical expense support, and over 350 received transportation assistance and 5 people got placed into other Foundation's programs to receive care. Los cabos does not have world class physical rehabilitation for children or adults. This program provided people the support they needed either through direct rehabilitation services or providing transportation to those services.
Por los ninos de la sierra ac is a community center and school that provides world class facilities and education for 77 children in vulnerable circumstances. The school is certified by baja California sur from kindergarten through eighth grade. Our Foundation in partnership with other foundations, has helped build the facilities over the last couple of years. The facility is a gamechanger for these children and is providing a model that we wish to replicate in other areas of the los cabos community. Seventy-seven children receive direct support and their families are also receiving indirect support through in-kind donations of clothing, food, cleaning supplies and other goods.
