The purpose of the corporations guardianship service is to provide the decision making process for individuals that have been deemed incapacitated. Immeasurable assistance includes: the transition period for clients from home to a care facility, decisions concerning the sales of homes, to the resolution of debt for the less fortunate. A few of these individuals have family support, but most have been abandoned (all family members are notified of court proceedings in advance by certified mail), thus they become wards of the court. 482 clients were served this year, 110 pro bono; 78 of these individuals died during the year.

The corporations representative payee and power of attorney services are provided for elderly and physically challenged clients who require assistance in maintaining their personal finances. For those in nursing homes, services are similar to those of guardianship. For others, the structured controlled disbursement of funds can lead to a tremendous improvement in lifestyle over time. 149 clients were served this year, 79 pro bono; 9 of these individuals died during the year.
